How To Get Ttokrrone Scales?

Ttokrrone Scales are dropped by a massive snake creature named Ttokrrone, which only appears every few days. There must be at least one day between its last death and its next appearance. In addition, the player needs to complete a series of FATEs in Shaaloani, the fourth area added by Dawntrail.

FATES and their coordinates are as follows:

• Serpentlord Stirs (X:23.6 Y:32.0)
• Serpentlord Speaks (X:29.0 Y:17.5)
• Serpentlord Sires (X:21.0 Y:8.3)
• Serpentlord Suffers (X:21.0 Y:8.3)

Only after completing the above four fates, the fifth Serpentlord Seethes may spawn at the north end of the map at X:22.4, Y:5.1.

Serpentlord Seethes may spawn within a few minutes after completing Serpentlord Suffers. It should be noted that you need to reach level 100 and unlock flying before you can participate, otherwise you need a teammate to transport you there with a multiplayer mount, if you are eager to unlock this lovely mount but don’t want to waste time leveling up, you consider using FFXIV Gil to redeem resources or services required for upgrades.

Depending on your contribution to the battle, you will receive a corresponding number of Ttokrrone Scales, perhaps 2, 4 or 6.

Maximizing Your Chance Of Getting All Six Scales

To maximize your chances of getting all six scales, players should try to join a full party of eight players. Since Serpentlord Seethes is a rare FATE spawn at the end of a five-part-long FATE chain. Located in Shaaloani in a remote area (22.6, 5.1). Farming Ttokrrone Scales is a time-consuming task.

How well you do determines how many times you need to repeat this FATE, with a worst-case scenario of 6 times! Regardless of how well you do, you will need to defeat Ttokrrone at least twice, so it’s best to keep an eye out for people who have completed the prerequisite FATE.

When Will Serpentlord Seethes FATE Spawn?

As mentioned before, once Ttokrrone is defeated, it will take at least 24 hours for him to respawn. There are websites or services that can help you track the creature’s last death and even notify you when a FATE spawns, but aside from these options, you’ll need to be vigilant patrolling Shaaloani.

Tips For Fighting Ttokrrone

Ttokrrone is a level 100 World Boss, and the fight with him is designed to be a large-scale group activity. Therefore, it is recommended to bring a full party to any respawn point and have some players take on the job of having the ability to resurrect. In addition, players can set their home Aetheryte to one in the region, as this will allow them to quickly rejoin in the event of death.

To get it, you need to defeat enemy players in Crystalline Conflict at least 300 times. This can be obtained not only in the official PVP mode but also in casual mode. Cerberus can be unlocked when you get"Mama Said Knock You Out III"achievement.

Everyone’s PVP prowess in FFXIV varies, but one thing that is common is that this quest takes quite a while. So make sure to set aside some time for Crystal Conflict quest.

9. Exciting Dynamite

• Owned: 1% of player population (7,800+ players)
• How to Obtain: Excitatron 6000

Treasure Maps are one of the best ways to get a lot of FFXIV Gil, as well as some rare treasures. Treasure packs will have crafting items, minions, and orchestrions waiting for you. Exciting Dynamite is one of the newer and rarer minions that drops in Excitatron 6000. It can be accessed through the level 90 Timeworn Kumbhiraskin maps.

FFXIV Items such as minions usually drop in map portals on deeper floors, most of which start from the third floor. However, these drops are very rare RNG, and you may need to walk dozens of maps to encounter one.

Timeworn Kumbhiraskin maps mentioned above can be obtained through Market Board, or collected from all open Endwalker areas with a level 90 Miner, Botanist, or Fisher. But remember that you can only collect one map of any type every 18 hours in the real world.

8. Shiromaru

• Owned: 2.5% of player population (19,000+ players)
• How to Obtain: Mount Rokkon

Some unique Variant and Criterion Dungeons in FFXIV have special treasures. If you are very lucky, these treasures will drop. One of these treasures is a cute Shiromaru minion. You can find a Shiba Inu dressed as a ninja at Mount Rokkon Variant Dungeon. That’s it.

Specifically, Shiromaru can be randomly dropped from treasure chests spawned on any path in any direction you walk throughout the dungeon. The probability of minions dropping in a Variant Dungeon or Criterion Dungeon is the same as the probability of dropping in a regular dungeon, which is 2%. This means that you will have to spend a long time walking every path in Mount Rokkon before you can see Shiromaru appear.

7. Penguin Prince

• Owned: 2% of player population (9,000+ players)
• How to Obtain: Lord of Verminion

Besides Hellpup, who is notoriously difficult to obtain, the other minion is Penguin Prince. Although he has a very cute name, he is locked behind the most annoying challenge in the whole FFXIV, Lord of Verminion. Of all the games available through Gold Saucer, Lord of Verminion is probably the most difficult one. Because this challenge requires many minions that you have already unlocked, it also means that you may do this challenge after collecting the remaining minions.

There is quite a lot of preparation before obtaining Penguin Prince. First you need to complete at least the second stage of Verminion challenge, and then you can register for Lord of Verminion tournament. After completing 4 Lord of Verminion tournaments, go to Minion Square to talk to Tournament Recordkeeper. It will give you an achievement “The Road of Verminion I”, and finally you can get the lovely Penguin Prince.

6. Chimpanzee (Faux Leaves Minions)

• Owned: 0.8% of player population (6,500+ players)
• How to Obtain: Faux Leaves currency from Unreal Trials

Chimpanzee is the newest minion to appear, but because of the difficulty of obtaining Faux Leaves, Chimpanzee and other minions that require Faux Leaves are rare. Chimpanzee requires 400 Faux Leaves to exchange, so even with good luck, it will take several weeks to obtain it.

If you want to own Faux Leaves, you must first complete Unreal Trial offered via Raid Finder. After completing Unreal Trial, you can then pass on your experience to Faux Commander, who will give you some Faux Hollows mini-games to play. If you succeed in the flip game, you will be awarded an additional Unreal Trial and a larger number of Faux Leaves.

You can only complete Unreal Trials twice a week until the missions refresh every Tuesday morning. Each refresh gives you two chances to play Faux Hollows mini-game. If you find this too time-consuming, you can spend FFXIV Gil to complete them, though it will be more expensive than usual.

5. Golden Beaver

• Owned: 0.9% of player population (6,900+ players)
• How to Obtain: Shifting Oubliettes of Lyhe Ghiah

Golden Beaver may look cute and shiny, but it’s still a rare minion that’s hard to get. It appears in Shifting Oubliettes of Lyhe Ghiah, which is accessed through a portal on level 80 Timeworn Zonureskin maps.

Lyhe Ghiah is a special instance of a multi-layer instance that’s different from a traditional multi-layer instance. In multi-layer instances, there are pairs of locked doors, but when multiple convocations are initiated in a single-layer instance, a roulette-style rotation will be triggered and a potential boss will be triggered. After defeating the potential boss, you’ll get a treasure. If you’re lucky enough to land on a golden placard, a special boss will be triggered that will drop Golden Beaver.

4. Wind-Up Philos & Aidoneus

• Owned: 0.9% of player population (6,800+ players)
• How to Obtain: Shifting Gymnasion Agonon

The reason for putting Wind-Up Philos and Aidoneus together is that they usually drop together in Shifting Gymnasion Agonon. In addition, Shifting Gymnasion Agonon is also a special instance that needs to be entered from the level 90 Timeworn Ophiotauroskin maps.

As with Shifting Oubliettes in Lyhe Ghiah just mentioned, the solution to Shifting Gymnasion Agonon is roughly the same. Players will fight the boss after initiating convocations on a single floor to obtain those treasure chests. If you are lucky enough to land on the golden placard, then you have a chance to get one or two Wind-Up Philos and Aidoneus at once.

3. Copycat Bulb

• Owned: 1.2% of player population (9,800+ players)
• How to Obtain: Gold Happy Bunny Lockbox in Eureka Pagos

Copycat Bulb is not only the hardest minion to get in the game, but it’s also one of the hardest rewards to get in Eureka. If you want to get Copycat Bulb, you’ll have to go to Pagos, which is considered by players to be the hardest area to level up, and is also the second island in Eureka.

Once there, you’ll need to complete an Elemental Conflict FATE and get a high enough rating, which will then summon a Happy Bunny and trigger a buff called Down "The Rabbit Hole". Note that this buff lasts for 15 minutes after you complete FATE. If you have enough Lucky Carrots for Happy Bunny, they will help you find some hidden treasure chests.

For those new to the game, Forbidden Land Eureka is an instanced open world zone with a Field Operations style gameplay. Through a separate upgrade system, players can work together to complete various activities in each zone and work together to earn a ton of rewards, including some unique Eureka gear and weapons.

2. Much-coveted Mora

• Owned: 0.7% of player population (6,000+ players)
• How to Obtain: Ocean Fishing

While many of the rare minions in this guide require a certain level of combat skill to obtain, the coveted Much-coveted Mora requires a more specific skill in ocean fishing. Not only do you need the best fishing rod and gear, but you also need to unlock the skill of Ocean Fishing.

So how do you unlock Ocean Fishing? Speak to Fhilsnoe in Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks area and complete the level 1 quest “All the Fish in the Sea”. When it says you have completed the “My First Fishing Rod” quest, you have unlocked Ocean Fishing.

Once you have completed the above, go to Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks and join an Ocean Fishing adventure with 24 other players. The boat will start once every real-world hour, and you need to check in 15 minutes before.

You will earn points for completing each Ocean Fishing adventure. Once you have earned 1,000,000 points, you can redeem Much-coveted Mora. This is a time-consuming task that is usually only completed by the most dedicated Eorzean fisherfolk.

1. Shalloweye

• Owned: 0.3% of player population (2,500+ players)
• How to Obtain: Lord of Verminion

As mentioned in Penguin Prince introduction, Lord of Verminion is the most challenging game mode in Gold Saucer, so Shalloweye minion, which can only be obtained by winning 50 Lord of Verminion games, is the rarest minion in this guide. It has a unique appearance and only has one eye.

If you have the patience and someone willing to help you, there is a good way to help you get the Shalloweye minion. The first thing to know is that Lord of Verminion does not allow you and your friends to fight side by side, but you can be matched into the game at the same time and become opponents. Then both of you can achieve success in the game, resulting in a mutually beneficial outcome.

This may not sound as noble as directly defeating an unknown enemy player, but it is indeed the most effective way. When you get “A Load of Verminion II” achievement, you can get the rarest and most loyal minion in FFXIV.

In this guide, I’ll walk you through everything you need to know to level up in Eorzea. From basic leveling tips to advanced leveling strategies for experienced players, this guide has it all. The different methods of leveling up and the best way to earn XP will be covered here. Let’s get straight to it.

Unlock Dungeons

Time management is crucial in learning to level up efficiently in FFXIV, especially if you plan to level up multiple jobs. If this is your first job to reach level 90, the dungeons unlocked in the story are your primary choice, which is enough to get you straight to level 90. I recommend your first job be a tank or healer. This will make your dungeon queue faster.

XP Bonus

Now let’s talk about XP bonuses you can earn to help level up alt jobs faster.

First of all, completing Brand-new Ring of Hall of the Novice will bring a 30% bonus to LV 30. In addition, Heat of Battle 1 to 3 will provide players with 5% to 15% bonuses, which can be activated by free links. Armory Bonus provides 100% bonus below level 80 and 50% bonus below level 90.

Additionally, New Worlds and Preferred Worlds receive a 100% bonus for creating a character on a new server or preferred server. Spend FFXIV Gil on food from Potwatch in any major city and get a 3% bonus when you consume 2 of them in 1 hour.

Hunting Log

First, I want to mention that Hunting Log is very useful for levels 1-15.

If you hover over the icon, it will give you the location. You can tell if it’s in the correct position by the icon above its head.

Palace Of The Dead

Palace of the Dead is a quick way to level up your alts from 1 to 50. Palace of the Dead is Deep Dungeon content in FFXIV, unlocked at level 17.

The quest, House That Death Built, can be completed after you talk to Nojiro Marujiro in New Gridania. To enter Palace of the Dead, start by talking to Wood Wailer Captain in Quarrymill to join a matching party and you will start the quest from Floor 1.

The nice thing about Palace of the Dead is that your actual gear doesn’t matter. Turning on Silver Chest increases your Aetherpool weapons and armor, which alone determines your damage and defense.

Next, you need to reach the next level by killing mobs. When the key lights up white, you can enter the next level. After clearing 50 floors, talk to Wood Wailer Captain again to unlock floors 50+.

Now you will use any job to run layers 51-60. My level 15 Pugilist gave me almost a 2 level buff boost in 12 minutes on floors 51-60 and I could avoid DPS queue time.

As a bonus, Deep Dungeon doesn’t use your Rested Experience, but you do get 100% bonus from Armory Bonus.

Duty Roulette

I need to remind you that Duty Roulettes provide good XP. But it can only be done once per day and resets at those times based on your time zone. I recommend doing 50/60/70/80, Leveling, Main Scenario, Trials, and Alliance Raid every day.

If you also hit an Adventurer that requires bonuses, this is a significant source of your passive FFXIV Gil income. This is what I found with my level 51 Warrior in Duty Roulette.

You may be thinking that the income from completing a level 51 raid is not very impressive. But one of its bigger benefits is that DPS can queue up faster in Duty Roulette.

Heaven-On-High

From levels 61 to 70, Heaven-on-High is a powerful option for gaining XP. This is a Deep Dungeon from Stormblood expansion.

You need to talk to Hamakaze in Ruby Sea to complete the quest Knocking on Heaven’s Door. In this Deep Dungeon, you need to rerun levels 21-30 to gain maximum XP. The entire dungeon takes about 15 minutes to run, and you’ll need to run it 32 times to reach level 70.

FATEs

If you are going to do FATEs, I recommend starting at level 70 to 90. Be sure to bring a companion with you, and upgrade your companion, which will give you some extra survivability in Shadowbringers and Endwalkers.

Additionally, FATEs provide an additional currency called Bicolor Gemstones. These can be used to purchase crafting materials from Gemstone Trader. You can use them to craft or sell them on the market to earn gil. Remember, you can only effectively farm XP from FATEs if you have a team doing it.

Bozjan Southern Front

At level 80, we can enter Bozjan Southern Front. You need to complete Stormblood Alliance Raid and talk to Keiten in Kugane to complete the quest line, Hail to the Queen.

To progress in Bozjan, you need to obtain Mettle. Mettle allows you to level up, giving you access to more Bozjans. In order to get Mettle, you need to do Skirmishes and Critical Engagements.

All in all, Bozja Fates is a great way to level up, but it requires a time investment. Just keep at it and this will take you all the way to level 90.

Beast Tribe Quests

A small daily quest option to keep in mind is Beast Tribe Quests. These are daily repeatable tasks to earn XP really fast. Three Pixie Quests per day gave us nearly 900,000 XP in 8 minutes.

How To Unlock Chocobo Companion?

To unlock your Chocobo Companion, you’ll need to first complete this My Feisty Little Chocobo Quest. This quest is located in South Shroud, in Camp Tranquil. You need to talk with Docette. She will start your Chocobo journey!

Chocobo Companion is unlocked when you reach level 30 in any class and complete My Feisty Little Chocobo Quest with your Grand Company.

Gysahl Greens

You now have a lifelong companion, you just need to feed him Gysahl Greens. You can get Gysahl Greens by spending 36 FFXIV Gil at the merchants in the three major cities.

Not only is your Chocobo a great sidekick, but you can also use it in battle. You can use Gysahl Greens to summon your Chocobo to fight by your side. A Gysahl Green lasts for 30 minutes, but you can give them up to 2 Gysahl Greens at a time for a full hour of fun.

Chocobo Stable

As it gains experience, it levels up. Alternatively, you can train it in a Chocobo Stable to level up quickly. Chocobo Stable is located outside apartment buildings in Uptown, but you can also add it to private and company homes for free.

You only need to complete Bird in Hand to unlock Chocobo training. Luquelot in Central Shroud at (x:20.3, y:21.6) will give you the quest. We can train Chocobo with Stable once an hour. You’ll need to bring Krakka Root, or something equally delicious.

But remember, if your Chocobo is in Stable, it won’t come when you use Gysahl Greens. So don’t get yourself stranded in the wild with no friends to help you. Remember to put it in the stable before you go hunting.

How To Upgrade Chocobo?

Also, Chocobo cannot be upgraded in stable. Their experience points will be 1 less than their level, and their level will turn green. This means you have to kill them in order to gain experience to move on to the next level.

Your Chocobo Companion will normally level up to level 10. Starting at level 10, you must feed your Chocobo Thavnairian Onion in order for it to progress to the next level.

You can choose to spend FFXIV Gil from the market to get them, grow them in the garden, or see if your Free Companies have them.

Chocobo Companion’s max level is 20. With each level, your Chocobo gains Skill Points, which you can assign to defender, attacker, or healer abilities. You can find this menu by going to Characters tab, selecting “Companion,” then going to Skills tab. You can also reset your skill tree by feeding Chocobo Reagan Pepper.

Other Tips

If you want to make your Chocobo more beautiful, you can dye it in different colors and put different bardings on it. There are 85 colors here, so the options are endless. You can also change Chocobo’s color by feeding specific combinations of treats in sequence.

To give your Chocobo full flair, give it a gorgeous Barding. The primary sources of Barding are Crafting Recipes, Quartermasters, Gold Saucer Vendors, Dungeon Chests, and FATEs. You can find most of these on this Market Board under Registrable Miscellaneous.

By the way, if you want to rename your Chocobo, talk to Chocobo boss in any of the three major cities and select “Chocobo Renaming.”

FFXIV hosts so-called Seasonal Events several times a year. They come back at the same time each year and usually give you a Glamor, Mount or Minion and some Housing Items.

So here I’m going to recap what to expect from each event throughout the year and what kind of items you’re likely to find as rewards. Below is a list of events that appear in order each year, so you can make sure you don’t miss a single one.

1. Heavensturn

The first event of the year is Heavensturn. This happens sometime between January and February. It celebrates this New Year and usually awards a Glamor themed to that year’s lunar animals.

2. Valentione’s Day & Little Ladies’ Day

The second group of events is Valentione’s Day and Little Ladies’ Day. These festivals take place between February and March. Join some NPCs you may have forgotten about love and women and cherry trees blooming. These events usually reward players with Emote and Glamor.

3.Hatching-Tide

The third event of note is Hatching-Tide. It happens between April and May. This is FFXIV version of Easter. Let’s all wait for the mini-game FATE to pop up and do something involving chickens and eggs. Then retrieve the new Glamor or Minion associated with the chicken.

4. Moonfire Faire

The fourth event is Moonfire Faire. The exact dates of the event seem to vary, but they usually hold it during June and July. You can enjoy the annual Jumping Puzzle and play with your charm.

If you reach the top of the tower, take a selfie and brag about it. You can also beat the heat by solving puzzles. So have you ever reached the top? The event usually awards players a summer-themed Glamor, though this year it’s a bit of a stretch.

5. Rising Event

The fifth event is Rising. It always starts in August and ends in September. The event is to celebrate the release anniversary of FFXIV’s “A Realm Reborn”. 

Players can travel through time and space with NPCs from past expansions and learn about the legend of Eorzea. This event usually rewards Minions related to past expansion packs.

6. All Saints’ Wake

The sixth event is All Saints’ Wake. This is a Halloween-Themed event, usually held in October or November. There’s going to be a lot of very interesting stories of characters trying to disturb Eorzea. The event usually rewards Spooky-Themed Glamours and some kind of Halloween-Themed food, as well as Mount and Minion.

7. Starlight Celebration

The seventh and final event is Starlight Celebration. It usually starts and ends in December. Personally, this is my favorite activity. Players will team up with a very special NPC to bring a little light to Eorzea and earn the fantastic Mount and Minion.

Other Events

You might also be interested in Make It Rain Campaign, usually held in June or July. They help you get the most out of your FFXIV MGP. There is also Moogle Tomestone Event, where you can exchange Moogle Tomestone for Minions, Mounts, and Orchestral Rolls.

These happen about a month before each patch. It should be noted that the activity dates introduced here are approximate dates, and the specific time will be adjusted according to the situation. 

Don’t worry if you missed these events. After one year, you can spend FFXIV Gil on the online store to get these event rewards. But why waste money when you can experience the full story and get rewarded for free?
