Lords Of The Fallen: How To Kill Spurned Progeny Boss Quickly And Farm For Loot? Lords Of The Fallen: How To Kill Spurned Progeny Boss Quickly And Farm For Loot?

Spurned Progeny is probably one of the most frustrating boss encounters you’ll encounter in a Soul-like game. If you’re having trouble with Spurned Progeny boss in Lords of the Fallen, this guide may help you defeat him as quickly as possible.

Prepare

Foremost, you need to use Vestige Seed to generate a rest spot outside of Spurned Progeny boss arena.

You’ll come here after you climb a burning tower at the end of Calrath Slums and defeat Infernal Enchantress. Otherwise it will take you a long time to get back to him, this will save you a lot of time.

You’ll also want to make sure you spend LotF Vigor on a good ranged weapon before entering the arena, whether it’s Magic, Bow or Crossbow. His second phase will be much easier if you have ranged abilities and a handful of Manastone Clusters or Ammunition Pouches.

Lords Of The Fallen: How To Kill Spurned Progeny Boss Quickly And Farm For Loot?

Boss Battle

They divided Spurned Progeny boss fight in Lords of the Fallen into three phases.

Phase 1

First, in Phase 1, he will slam you on the ground while periodically summoning Pillars of Fire or trying to squash you with his hips. If you lock onto the skinny foot instead of the flaming foot, it’s not too difficult to avoid his swings.

However, dodging Pillars of Fire he summons can be quite a challenge. Because the fourth and last Pillar of Fire will be a fraction of a second later than the other three Pillars of Fire.

Also, if you get too far away from him, he may slam into the ground and create a wave of fire, or throw a giant fireball at you while staying close to his feet.

Phase 2

Once you lose about a fifth of his health, the massive beast will start spitting lava. This is your reminder that his Phase 2 is about to begin.

If you have magic to throw and lots of Manastone Clusters at your disposal, this part of the fight is a bit of a breeze. Because you can run between platforms and drop some spells or arrows at any time. If you have a good ranged weapon, avoiding his fire attacks is easier.

Where to get Manastone Clusters in Lords of the Fallen?

If you don’t have any ranged weapons, you’ll have to dodge his swipes and pounds, and then land a few hits on his hands, which all take quite a while. And with how powerful his attack is, it can be very dangerous.

Anyway, if he swipes at you, roll to the right, because if you roll to the left, he may hit you with his elbow.

Phase 3

Finally, Spurned Progeny will suddenly explode into a Supernova, killing you in one hit. You must follow the passage between platforms and hide behind broken walls to avoid death.

Then you either run down and beat him up when he’s done, or cast more spells from above as the lava below will go out.

But be careful. If you don’t finish him off quickly enough, he’ll explode again. You need to go back quickly and get behind the broken wall.

Loot

After defeating Spurned Progeny Boss in LotF, the loot you will receive includes a Vestige Seed, Spurned Progeny Flesh, Giant Eyeball, and 8 Umbral Scouring.

However, the veritable treasure is Stigmas. It provides some background on Spurned Progeny, as well as his Remembrance Item.

You can then take Remembrance to Molhu in Skyrest Bridge to purchase the powerful Magma Surge spell and Charred Root. This allows you to cast Inferno spells without using Inferno Catalysts.

If you choose to take on the path of Pyric Cultist, then you should definitely purchase these two items. Otherwise, save your Umbral Scourings to get more boss items that suit your play style.

That’s a complete guide to Spurned Progeny Boss, and I wish you good luck on your journey to Upper Calrath Mining District and Sunless Skein!

Lords Of The Fallen: How To Farm Sacred Shrine Currency Solo After Patch 1.1.394? - Pilfered Coins Farming Guide Lords Of The Fallen: How To Farm Sacred Shrine Currency Solo After Patch 1.1.394? - Pilfered Coins Farming Guide

Are you having trouble getting faction items in Lords of the Fallen? Because either you’re terrible at PVP and can’t beat anyone, or you have no friends to play with in a co-op.

Luckily, in the latest Lords of the Fallen Patch 1.1.394, they’ve made all faction currency farmable from elite enemies. This means you can farm all faction currency from elite enemies without having to PVP or find a partner.

In this guide, we'll focus on how to collect Pilfered Coins from elite enemies, with a chance of getting Plucked Eyeballs. Without further ado, let’s get started!

Lords Of The Fallen: How To Farm Sacred Shrine Currency Solo After Patch 1.1.394? - Pilfered Coins Farming Guide

Start Run

Now let’s teleport to Empyrean Vestige. Once we get here, all we have to do is walk right out the door. We’ll keep running straight, not letting anything stop us, until we see the radiant splooge to the left. Don’t worry, just keep walking near the steps.

Here, this elite enemy will shoot some Radiant spells at you. Don’t worry, just keep running. But be careful, don't let it hit you, it can get you into trouble.

So once you’re past it, just keep going and continue straight through this area. You need to go all the way back and climb the steps. There will be an area here where you can place your Vestige Seed.

Now we’re going to run back up the stairs from here. As you can see, there is already a lantern here and you can use your Soul Flay to avenge someone. Now these things are always here because people die here all the time.

When I come around the corner here, I want to kill these two enemies. Because once we kill these guys, you’ll find your mates. Then we need to keep running. There is no need to sit here.

Then we meet another set of twins. These twins now drop Pilfered Coins. They do have a pretty good drop rate.

How To Defeat Radiant Sentinel?

In Empyrean Vestige, after reaching the end of Abbey, you will have access to one of the toughest beacon bosses, Radiant Sentinel.

But before you can conquer the last line of defense, you must defeat Rapturous Huntress Lirenne. Also, before attempting to defeat Radiant Sentinel, it is recommended to plant a Vestige Seed in the area beyond the opening behind Desolate Church.

Lords of the Fallen: How To Defeat Radiant Sentinel?

When you’re ready, reach the end of Abbey and begin the battle with Radiant Sentinel. Once the battle begins, she will immediately approach you. Her spear allows her to lunge at you across impressive gaps, making her charged lunge attack a potentially dangerous one to begin with.

She pauses between attacks. Take the opportunity to dash forward and land some hits before she can react. It’s best to do as many charged attacks as possible.

Also, when her health is low, she will use her Radiant Arrows to move and attack the battlefield. Watch out for arrows that will transform into Radiant thorns when they hit the ground, which will catch you off guard.

Then, once she’s down, that’s your cue to attack and deal significant damage. Take advantage of this opportunity, because this time, she’s finally going to die in Lords of the Fallen.

Lords of the Fallen: Farm The Faction Shrine Currencies Out Of Elites Of Every Faction

Tips

Along the way, not only do you have five chances to earn Pilfered Coins, but you’ll also find tons of Lanterns to avenge other players. As I said before, a lot of people do die here, so this is a great place to farm for these items.

Now keep in mind that when farming these items, I only spent Lords of the Fallen Vigor to buy a ring that increases item drops, nothing else. And I’m getting pretty good drop rates here. I got about 15 Pilfered Coins in about an hour.

So just make sure to use items that increase drop rates and vigor rates and things like that so you can make the most of it.

In addition to these items, this is a great place to farm things like Large Deralium Chunk. But overall this is a great place to farm and good luck to everyone. As always, looking forward to seeing you next time.

Lords Of The Fallen: How To Defeat The Most Powerful Red Reaper? - Umbral Scouring Farming Guide

Dread Meter

Dread Meter, also known as Umbral Eyes, exists within Umbral Realm of the Lords of the Fallen. The purpose of Umbral Eyes is to track your time in Umbral Realm as soon as you step into it.

In addition to this, Umbral Eyes are also an important component used to enhance Umbral Lamp and modify character construction in the game. Each Umbral Eye has unique effects, and players can get a variety of additional effects by plugging them into specific slots on Umbral Lamp. This feature adds another layer of enhancements to your character build.

As always, players can earn Umbral Eyes by defeating enemies or finding rare loot in the game world.

Lords of the Fallen: Umbral Eye Dread Meter Quick Guide

How To Activate Red Reaper?

Dread Meter gradually fills in, with a white outline appearing from the top and looping around Umbral Eyes. Also, the longer you stay in Umbral Realm, the more your eyes will fill until it filled your eyes to X2.

When the eye is filled with X3, this will trigger your encounter with the powerful Red Reaper in Umbral Realm.

Fill Dread Meter

If you want to harness the power of Dread Meter, you need to take a simple and practical approach. You must spend LotF Vigor to purchase and equip yourself a lantern to begin your journey.

Next, you can venture into the mysterious Umbral Realm, a place where fear and darkness reign. Once in Umbral Realm, focus all your attention on Umbral Eye in the upper right corner of the screen.

Also, it is important to note that this eye is your guide to determine if you are in a safe area. When the eyes are open, they indicate danger so you can maximize your Umbral Scouring collection.

As time passes within Umbral Realm, the numbers above the eyes gradually increase, starting with X1. Fortunately, you are free to engage in a variety of activities during this time.

Do Not Enter The Safe Zone

The next mission is to fight against the vicious denizens and white zombies that live in this Umbral Realm. You must start exploring the mysterious and eerie landscape within Umbral Realm. Don’t forget, you need to make sure your eyes stay open.

Once you enter the safe area, it will cause your eyes to remain closed for a long time. So be careful not to mistakenly enter the safe area within the realm, as it will also reset the number above the eye to its initial state of X1. In this way, you need to wait again for Umbral Scouring to generate.

When Dread Meter reaches X3, it triggers the eyes to flash and turn a sinister red. This is a signal from your eyes that you’re ready to face the infamous Red Reaper.

Encounter Red Reaper

When Dread Meter transforms into a terrifying crimson hue, you’ll officially begin Red Reaper encounter. The ground beneath your feet will glow a fiery red, signaling the toughest boss in the game, Red Reaper.

Equipped with dual Scythes and huge power reserves, Red Reaper is a force to be reckoned with. If you’re brave enough to defeat this formidable opponent, you’ll earn 5 Umbral Scouring, giving you supremacy in the game.

Lords Of The Fallen: The Best Strategy To Defeat Pieta Quickly! Lords Of The Fallen: The Best Strategy To Defeat Pieta Quickly!

Lords Of The Fallen contains many challenging bosses that you must overcome to progress in the game. Shortly after completing the tutorial area, you will encounter your first major boss, called Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal.

Even though Pieta is the first boss, that does not mean she’s an easy opponent. This battle sets the tone for what to expect in the game, emphasizing the need for careful pattern recognition and strategic thinking.

Lords Of The Fallen: The Best Strategy To Defeat Pieta Quickly!

How To Beat Pieta?

Dealing with Pieta is a two-phase battle that requires you to learn her moves and develop a strategy to defeat her.

First Phase

Pieta uses Long Holy Sword as her chief weapon, and all of her attacks in First Phase revolve around it. Let us break it down for you.

Her first move is a two-swing combo, which gives her sword a longer reach. After she makes this attack, there’s a good chance to get a full combo on her before you back away.

When you get close to Pieta, she may launch a sweeping attack and then back away to gain some distance. This attack is usually followed by her raising her weapon in the air and unleashing a straight-line beam attack.

This may be the most dangerous moment you face. You can dodge it by dashing to the side, or, more effectively, dodging as she fires her straight-line beam.

Another ranged attack she uses is when she summons a Holy Sword towards the ground, which releases a series of falling swords that fly in your direction. But this is easy to avoid. Just stay out of the path of those falling swords.

The ultimate attack of this phase is her jumping swing, which she uses to close the gap between you and her. This, like the first attack, gives you a good start. If you still have enough LotF Vigor, you can continue to launch a full combo.

Second Phase

Second Phase of fighting Pieta ramps up the difficulty with a series of fresh attacks that you have to pay close attention to.

First, Pieta will transform into a Four-Winged Angel-Type Knight. When she executes her attack, she retreats to the back of the arena, then lunges forward, summoning a cluster of swords in the air. Once you reach the opposite side, the cluster of swords will fall down. To avoid this, position yourself to the right or left side of the boss battle arena.

During this stage, Pieta will also summon some nasty specters. These summoned spectators have four different attacks:

The first mirrors First Phase’s straight-line beam attack, but this time it’s performed by two of Specters she summons.

The second one is similar to the linear sword she used in the first phase. You just stay out of their attack path.

On the third attack, Specters will appear near you and launch a melee combo. Sometimes it’s just one spectrum, but usually it’s two spectrums.

The last attack is similar to the one she uses when entering Second Phase. However, this time, she retreated to the end of the arena and summoned two Specters, occupying both sides, and lined up to sneak in, leaving a trail of falling swords. This one is also easy to dodge. Just pay attention to which part of the path is clear and hold on until the attack is over.

Also, be careful with her grab attack, which she usually uses from a distance. She pushes herself towards you, and this attack does massive damage.

Lords of the Fallen: How to beat Pieta & No damage Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal boss fight

Strategy

Defeating Pieta is difficult. Therefore, you must seize the right moment to attack and use your three Sanguinarix charges wisely.

In First Phase, you’d better stay close to her. Her swing combos are relatively easy to dodge, and they also give you a significant chance to hit some hits.

Sometimes you may need to step back to replenish energy or heal, but be aware that she may unleash a beam or linear sword attack.

Pieta will usually transition to Second Phase when half of her health is depleted, but sometimes she may transition earlier, so stay alert.

When she transforms into Four-Winged Angel-Type Knight, your best bet is to avoid it and let her finish the falling sword attack. Trying to attack her during this transformation won’t hurt her, so it’s best to take a step back, regain your strength and always be ready to attack.

In Second Phase, Pieta becomes more aggressive and agile, often flying around the arena and approaching you. However, the opening that follows her swinging combo is the moment you should be waiting for. And taking risks at other times can leave you vulnerable.

This battle requires patience, so resist the urge to be greedy, as it can be your downfall. Stay alert, learn her attack patterns, and remember that we can easily dodge most attacks. You can wait for these gaps and damage her if necessary, and eventually you will defeat Pieta.

Lords of the Fallen Boss Guide: Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal Tips

Rewards

After defeating Pieta, your rewards will include 1 Vestige Seed and 8 Umbral Scouring. However, there is more to LotF Vigor to gain.

By entering Umbral, you will interact with Umbral memory. Upon completion you will receive Remembrance of Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal.

Lords Of The Fallen: How To Get 6 New Spells? - Locations & Tips Lords Of The Fallen: How To Get 6 New Spells? - Locations & Tips

The development team of Lords of the Fallen released a roadmap not long ago. They showed us many features that will be added to the game, one of which is actually a new spell.

Spells in Lords of the Fallen are special powers that allow players to perform a variety of game-changing actions. Such as increasing damage, summoning creations and entities, or even covering the entire field with magical explosions. Spells can be purchased from merchants by spending LotF Vigor, or obtained by looting and defeating enemies. Today I’ll show you how to get these 6 new spells.

Lords Of The Fallen: How To Get 6 New Spells? - Locations & Tips

Tolling

Let’s start with Tolling spell. Tolling is a Radiant Spell that triggers a wave of Radiant magic that can knock down multiple enemies while dealing with physical damage.

This spell summons a bell above your head, and after you click it three times, you perform an AOE attack. This deal some considerable damage to the surrounding area while knocking back your opponent.

You can get this spell by killing Receiver of Sacred Resonance enemy. If you come to Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters, follow the corridor and you’ll eventually find it. Once you kill him enough times, he’ll eventually throw a Tolling spell at you.

Of course, you can also get Tolling from another enemy in another region. But this place is much better because we can actually get the second spell, Vortex of Torment.

Lords of the Fallen Guide: The Tolling Spell Location

Vortex Of Torment

If you just turn around from here and walk slightly backwards from the path you took here, one enemy we’ve actually passed is the one that drops Vortex of Torment spell, Scourged Sister. She’ll just stand in the clearing here, and then you can kill her and get the spell from her dying body.

Vortex of Torment is also a Radiant Spell that can summon Cyclone, causing various effects such as Physical Damage, Bleeding, and Smite buildup, and leaving an AOE pool. Over time, it can also cause damage to those standing in it.

Lords of the Fallen Guide: Vortex of Torment Spell Location

Blistering Salvo

For the next spell we need to head to Vestige of Hooded Antuli in Sunless Skein. The spell we are looking for this time is called Blistering Salvo, from this Vestige.

If you’ve already passed through this area, you’ll find that this long tunnel contains the enemies you see frequently at the beginning of the game, called Proselytes. You’ll get this spell after knocking him down a few times.

Blistering Salvo is one of Inferno Spells available in Lords of the Fallen, which summons projectiles in the form of darts that deal with burning stacks and fire damage. But they don’t cost much mana and burn, so it’s actually pretty good.

Lords of the Fallen Guide: Blistering Salvo Spell Location

Rising Fire

For the next Rising Fire spell, we will need to go to Upper Calrath. This spell drops from Infernal Enchantress enemies. Other locations where you can encounter Infernal Enchantress enemies include Lower Calrath and Bramis Castle.

Rising Fire is one of Inferno Spells. Can summon Orbs of Fire, causing burn accumulation and fire damage. They do pretty decent damage if the target is moving.

Lords of the Fallen Guide: Rising Fire Spell Location

Pallid Bile

The next spell to get will be called Pallid Bile, and to get it, you will need to kill Womb of Despair enemy. We can only encounter this enemy while the player is in Umbral Realm.

A good place to farm is to head to Umbral Realm before fighting Pieta and stay in Umbral until mobs start spawning. There is an area in front of the boss where Umbral Eyes will close and destroy enemies before it becomes unstoppable.

Pallid Bile is one of Umbral Spells available in LotF, which can release the flow of Umbral Magic, causing Poison buildup and Wither Damage. This spell is actually kind of insane. It does a ton of damage and also instantly creates poison. So the damage output of this spell can be very high.

Lords of the Fallen Guide: Pallid Bile Spell Location

Septic Heave

The last spell we’ll get is Septic Heave. This spell drops from Shuja Strider enemies. The recommended farming location is Forsaken Fen near Vestige of Valade. There are multiple Strider enemies in the area where you first find the petrified Kukajin and an enormous bonfire.

Septic Heave is an Umbral Spell that fires projectiles that cause poison accumulation and physical damage. Its damage is low, but using it to target enemies is very useful.

Lords of the Fallen Guide: Septic Heave Spell Location

Final Thoughts

A little over a month after the release of Lords of the Fallen, they have implemented two new campaign missions. Now, these six new spells are clearly doing their best to add something new to the game. Let me know what you guys think of these six new spells. Do you think they’re really cool or do you think they’re a little lame? I wish you all the best.
