After the quick introduction and the team builds of Nilou in Genshin Impact, today I would like to discuss about how to build Nilou herself in 3.1 version, let's just have a look.

Artifact:

Moving on to Nilou's best Artifact, her best one for the time being I think it's gonna be two pieces of Tenacity with other two flex pieces. Because the only main thing you want with Nilou is basically HP, and the other thing is just going to be technically buff for Nilou.

However, the thing with artifacts right now is that we don't have a dedicated HP scaling artifact yet, or in other words we don't have a bis artifact option for me when it comes to HP scalings, we only have two piece Tenacity which is good currently.  

The other two piece I would say you can run either with two piece heart of depth, or two piece Wanderer's Troupe to support more her personal damage.

The most important thing though is how you build your artifact stats, the best stats right now is going to be full three HP, you can also build as if she is a DPS character and that is going to be HP, hydro and then crits. However, it's not going to be as well as the three HP stats set, the reason is Nilou scales everything from HP as we have discussed in her skill sections, and her passive talents helped with DPS as well.

If you were to be building a DPS set and getting a hydro damage, the damage from her pasive talent will be lost. Because you're not gonna be having too much HP for Nilou, when you try running her in the team, it's basically quite a lot of DPS lost, so therefore full HP build is generally going to be better.

weapons:

When we talk about Nilou's best weapons is actually pretty interesting, because there are quite a few ones to discuss. First of all her BiS option is for sure the best, nothing to discuss about.

Next best weapon is when it comes to you not investing into any of the 5 Star, the Sacrificial Sword or the Favonia Sword. These swords are just very good and give her a lot of energy recharge so that she can get more of a burst up time.

Since her E skill's activation is pretty short with a long cooldown of 18 seconds, Sacrificial Sword here is going to be taking a basically better place in her weapons. It is also an easy use weapon for you, even when you're messing up a rotation, it can still give Nilou pretty good energy recharge for herself

Favonia Sword isn't bad as well, but you need to build a little bit of crit on her to make sure that you get its passive activated, and that's the reason why it falls a little bit behind the Sacrificial Sword. They both are really good, so you can just choose which one you like the most.

Then the Jade Cutter, it gives her a lot of great rate with decent personal damage buff, and it also have HP passive of up to 20%, which is pretty decent as well.

Next one is the Festering Desire, it increases her E skill by a very good amount, plus giving her energy recharge as well. It's a very solid option to run on Nilou.

Finally if you don't really have any other options, Sapwood Blade is a good one as well, because it does give energy recharge and buffs to the team member that picks up the leaf.

However, the best solid option would be either her BiS only if you have it, so just try your best to get it as possible as you can. The only problem is... this weapon looks so ugly, I even thought it was an April Fools joke at first time... but it is the best option.

Constellation:

Onto her Constellation, personally her constellations are pretty decent, her C1 gives her luminous illusion damage an increase of 65%, in which luminous illusion damage is basically the third hit of her sword dance. It won't be the whole of her thought stance, only the last hit, but 65% increase on the last hit is quite good. Then in terms of her Hydro Aura, there's gonna be a six seconds extension, which is a total of 18 seconds. In other words, her Aura now is going to be having a hundred percent up time.

Her C2 is basically one of her best Constellations, when the characters that is affected by the golden chalice's bounty and deal Hydro damage to the opponent, the enemies get a hydro resistant decrease of 35% for a 10 second. Meanwhile, after that if a bloom reaction deals damage to that opponent, they get a dendro resistant decrease of 35% for 10 seconds as well. The 10 seconds here we almost never have to take into consideration, because your team is always going to have the Golden Chalice's Bounty affected so this will always technically happen. So if you love Niluo, I would say C2 is one of her best stopping point.

C3 would increase her burst damage, and C4 is that whenever she finished using her E skill, she gets a 15 Elemental energy regain and the damage of her burst is increased by 50 percent, which is a pretty decent increase for burst damage.

C6 showcases that every a thousand point of Niluo Max HP increase 0.6 and 1.2 percent on her crit rate and crit damage, maximum increase of 30 and 60 percent can be gained. So in order for you to get the maximum increase that would basically equals to a 50k HP Niluo. But if you already get her to a C6 level, of course you also have her BiS weapon as well, therefore a 50k nilu is basically obtainable.
