New World: Aeternum Services

The exciting Rabbit’s Revenge event is finally back! The event kicks off on June 4th and runs until June 18th.

In this guide, we’ll cover the rewards you can get from it and how to get them, giving you some tips and tricks to get the most out of this event. In addition, I’ll also show you some of my favorite places to grind rabbits so that you can hunt all the prey for Rabbit’s Revenge event as quickly as possible. Now let’s get started.

Event Rewards

With the start of Rabbit’s Revenge event, all rabbits in New World will become Corrupted Rabbits and have a chance to explode and die. Luckily, there will also be new event rewards to fight for, which can be obtained by killing these rabbits.

This event will last for two weeks, and all rewards have a chance to drop as long as you kill rabbits. What’s more, all rewards except emotes are now implemented with Pity system, so you will definitely get them, eventually. However, it should be noted that the rewards reset at 5 am local time.

Here is a list of rewards that can drop from killing Corrupted Rabbits:

• Corrupted Rabbit Mask is guaranteed to drop after 200 kills, with a 1.5% chance of dropping.
• Corruption’s Peak Weapon is Flail, which is guaranteed to drop after 300 kills with a 1% chance of dropping.
• Corruption’s Barricade Skin is guaranteed to drop after 350 kills with a 0.5% chance of dropping.
• Defiled Storage Chest of the Hare is guaranteed to drop after 400 kills with a 0.25% chance of dropping.

This Storage Chest is definitely what you want to get the most, as it’s a top tier chest that you can only get once a year, so you’ll want to make sure you grab it while you can to increase your storage space. Of course, there are other chests that can increase storage space, but they’re very expensive. If you don’t have enough New World Coins, it’s best to grab it while it’s free.

There will also be daily rewards here. You can get up to six Diamond Gypsums per day by killing rabbits, with a 66% chance of dropping. There is also a Defiled Rabbit’s Foot, which you can get up to five per day, with an 80% drop chance.

Hunting Tips

Now let’s quickly go over a few tips and tricks before we get into the hunting spots.

First, when you are ready to kill rabbits, you may wish to wear some Skinning gear to increase your chances of getting better rewards when skinning rabbits.

Also, you should hold on to the rare Rabbits Meat you farm for a while before selling it, as the prices of these items will drop significantly during the event.

For the same reason, everyone is hunting rabbits during this event, and even if you have already obtained all the event rewards, it is still worthwhile to hunt rabbits every day in exchange for all Defiled Rabbit’s Foot and Diamond Gypsum.

Because if you hold on to them for a few months, their prices will usually increase significantly after the event is over. Since this is the only time of the year you can get them, the longer you wait, the higher their prices will be.

If you are adventurous and play the market, you can even get a lot of high tier Rabbits Meat and Defiled Rabbit’s Foot when the prices are at an all-time low, and then sell them a few months later for a profit.

When you’re out hunting rabbits, always keep an eye on your radar if you find yourself having a hard time finding a rabbit, because even though it may be right next to you sometimes, you won’t be able to see them if they’re hiding in the bushes.

I like to move my camera left and right while I’m running, always keeping an eye on the rabbits on my radar to be more efficient at hunting.

However, don’t forget to skin the rabbits you kill while you’re out. If you don’t, they’ll still show up on your radar and the radars of other players, which can cause real trouble for your fellow rabbit hunters. And the resources you gain from skinning rabbits will also net you some New World Coins.

If you really want to maximize your efficiency when killing rabbits, you’ll also want to use some Ranged Weapons, especially Musket. Because of its long range and high accuracy, it allows you to quickly kill a few rabbits before you go skin all the rabbits.

Best Farming Locations

With all that said, it’s time to start grinding. So, let’s take a look at three locations I like to used to grind rabbits before showing you a method to find more locations.

Brightwood

The first location we’re going to look at is in Brightwood. You can teleport to the major city and then follow the path north to Tempest Valley Shrine before continuing on to Imperial Shrine. As you can see from the map, there are tons of rabbit spawns along this path and you can kill a lot of them here.

Everfall

Next up is Everfall. You still have to teleport to the principal city and then slowly wiggle left and right to make your way to Amrine Excavation dig site. Here, keep an eye on the map of rabbit spawn locations and try to stay in the areas with the highest density. But because this is a low-level area, any wandering monsters won’t be much of a threat, so this location is always crowded.

Ebonscale Reach

The third and final location is Ebonscale Reach. If you are a high-level player, this will be the perfect farming location for you because higher-level monsters will scare off new players. You simply teleport to the major city and then follow the path outside of the city and kill all the rabbits on the way, then return to the city once you have killed enough rabbits.

New World Maps

If you tried all of these locations but there were too many people taking over all of the rabbit spawning sites. Then you can check out a very cool resource called New World Maps.

If you hide everything on the map and only show rabbits, it will show you all the places they spawn on the map. You just have to go to any area where there are a lot of rabbit spawns and grind until your heart’s content.

If you’re looking for the best way to quickly collect Winter Tokens for New World Winter Convergence Festival, you’ve come to the right place.

Winter Tokens serve as the currency of Winter Convergence Festival, and players can use them to purchase items in Winter Shop. In order to get Winter Tokens, you must take part in a series of Winter Activities.

As we all know, there are lots and lots of goodies in Winter Convergence Shop this year, and it’s totally worth buying all those skins and useful crafting materials. All I’m going to do is share some of the different things you have to do to get all Winter Tokens to buy everything in the store.

Kill Yeti

First, probably most of you already know this. But you have to kill this Yeti three times a day. Every time you kill it, you’ll get a Winter Spike, which you can exchange for two Premium Winter Tokens. So basically six free tokens every day, plus you pick up some nice Dark Matter. So you might as well do it.

We should note that Premium Winter Tokens can be used to purchase furniture, tier V gear, give present emotion, and pet rabbits at home. The remaining items cost ordinary Winter Tokens.

Gift Piles

Another thing worth mentioning is that in every major city, you will see a giant pile of gifts. You can go up there, hit E and pick up some gifts. You can do this up to three times a day, and it’s totally worth doing because there are some goodies included in these gifts.

Each gift pile you loot in any settlement will contain 4 gifts per player. But you can only interact with 3 Trees of Light per day to receive gifts. The gift pile also includes 2 White Plasters and 1 Random Holiday Food. You can also earn additional New World Coins by selling excess gifts.

Digging Gleamite

Next, let’s move on to some more proactive ways to learn how to get more Winter Tokens. You can actually search all Gleamite locations. So every time there’s an icon everywhere, once it gets dark, you’ll see some kind of Gleamite spawn. You can mine it and eventually convert it into more tokens.

Let’s go ahead and give you a more realistic real world example and I’ll show you exactly how this works in the future.

All you have to do is find the exact location on the map of one of those Gleamite icons we just saw. After a while, it’ll get dark, and you’ll see Bright Light start to cross your map, then explode into a bunch of different Gleamite Chunks.

Once you actually see them land, you can run towards them and start mining Gleamite Chunks. I strongly recommend you choose larger chunks.

As you can see, I just got 17 little Chunks out of this. Especially if there is competition. These little chunks will only give you one.

I mean, if there’s a bunch of people running around trying to get Gleamite, it’s very important to pick up these bigger Chunks first, and not anything else. This way, you’ll get more money.

Pick Up Presents

To proactively pick up more Winter Tokens, you can also choose to pick up restored presentations along the route on the map. Now I highly recommend you hit M and just follow the route on the map, as they now tend to honestly follow most routes with all the turns.

Now I’m doing this in an area that’s a little darker than the rest, just because the presents will glow a little more and I can find them easily.

This method and Gleamite I just showed you, these are the two most active ways to earn Winter Tokens. You can actually collect a lot of Winter Tokens quickly. Good luck!

Winter Convergence Festival is a winter seasonal event in New World. This year’s event will begin on December 12 and run until January 9, 2024.

You will complete seasonal quests provided by Winter Wanderer during Winter Convergence Event, collecting Winter Tokens from Aeternum’s repeatable events. You can then use these tokens to purchase some rare items and cosmetics in Holiday Shop.

Winter Villages

To get started, you need to head to one of Winter Villages set up in Everfall, Monarch’s Bluff, Weaver’s Fen, or Brightwood. There are also shops outside each village where you can exchange gifts for tokens.

Winter Warrior

Winter Warrior is an Open World Raid boss associated with Winter Convergence Event. Boss is suitable for groups of 20+ players. You can find them in places like Great Cleave, Brightwood, Edengove, Ebonscale Reach, and Brimstone Sands.

Defeating Winter Warrior will provide you with Warrior’s Hailspikes, which you can redeem for 10 Winter Tokens. Kill the first 3 Winter Warriors each day and you will also receive 15 Dark Matter.

Once you reach Winter Warrior spawn point, there will be four Ice pillars that you need to activate with your Azoth Staff. You need four people to complete each pillar at the same time to get started. Doing so will release Winter Warrior and the battle will begin!

During combat, several additional mobs will spawn along with “Avalanche” clumps. Players need to clear these two targets throughout the battle as they will increase Winter Warrior’s DPS. Here are the rest of Winter Warrior mechanics:

• Slam: Winter Warrior slams forward and deals massive AOE damage.
• Charge: Winter Warrior will move throughout the area, damaging and knocking players down.
• Avalanche: Winter Warrior throws a chunk of snow at the player, forming an Avalance clump.
• Igniting Roar: This will ignite Avalanche balls around him into Arcane Bombs.

Ice Caves

With the launch of Winter Convergence Event, the developers also launched POIs called Ice Caves. These caves emerged because Winter Warrior longed for eternal winter.

After the event is over, these caves will remain as scars on the landscape. They are also the source of wintry magic. Even if the warrior is eventually defeated by the player, they will not melt. There are 8 Ice Caves locations, namely:

• Northeastern Cutlass Keys
• Southern Monarch’s Bluff
• Eastern Windward
• Southern Everfall
• Southern Ebonscale Reach
• North Edengrove
• South Edengrove
• North Shattered Mountain

Winter Convergence Event

There are 4 new activities to take part in during Winter Convergence Event. Each of these events will reward players with Winter Tokens and Event Reputation.

New Questline

These are new quests for the holiday event, and you can pick them up in Winter Villages.

Convergence Spirit

This is a special Town Project to upgrade Tree of Light in each settlement for higher New World Coins earnings.

Lost Present Recovery

We can find Lost Presents throughout Aeternum, and we can redeem them for Winter Tokens at Winter Villages Holiday Hut. There are also some Floating Presents that can only be taken down with ranged weapons. So make sure you carry a ranged weapon with you.

Gleamite Showers

Gleamite Showers are a random event that only occurs at night throughout Aeternum. A crack will appear in the sky and Gleamite will fall to the ground. Then you will have to mine Gleamite. You can then exchange Gleamite for Winter Tokens at Winter Villages Holiday Hut.

Once you start the questline after visiting Winter Villages, it will guide you through a series of holiday quests. These holiday missions reward players with XP, Territory Standing, Azoth, Coin, and Event Reputation.

Pristine Gleamite

As the 2023 event gets underway, one of the new items added to the event store is Pristine Gleamite. This is a new crafting material that can be used to craft 700 pieces of equipment. However, these items grant 3 perks when locked.

They locked all weapons except Life Staff to Keen, Attunement, and Luck. Life Staff comes with Blessed, Attunement, and Luck.

The armor also has a gear score of 700, but it also has 3 perks locked. You can make light, medium or heavy variants. They all come with Health, Enchanted Ward, Luck, and Magnify.

Today, I’m going to show you how to earn a decent amount of gold per hour by farming Thick Hide and Pristine Bear Claw.

Location

Currently, my location is actually here in Brightwood, and I’m next to this cave called Greyvale Grotto. I usually start from Settlements.

Now all you have to do is Skinning. Your target is the bear in this area. When you Skinning, they actually give you Thick Hide and Red Meat. Then you also have a chance to get Pristine Bear Claw. It sells for since you can use them to craft Beast Trophies.

On my server, they sell for about 70 New World Coins each. Then you also can get Pristine Bear Pelt, which also sells very well.

Thick Hide is worth approximately 20 coins each. That’s not actually that much, but when you skin these guys, they actually give you a lot of Thick Hide yield.

So I was making about 3K-5K an hour, which is actually a decent amount. Because the economy is really low right now, it’s actually not too bad in terms of the weight of the economy right now.

Route

Next, let’s talk about the route for farming these bears, which will be the route I usually follow when doing so here.

We usually start with Brightwood. Then climb up the cliff and go around this cliff, where you will see your first bear. I’ll kill him and then move on to the rest of this cave. Just a note of caution: skin them all before you leave the cave.

You can also mine ore in caves, which yields a rare ore, Starmetal. You can also farm Starmetal Veins along this route if you wish.

But after killing those bears, I’ll exit the cave on this side. When we come out, you’ll realize there’s actually a group of bears here. I surrounded them, that’s why I suggested using a ranged weapon. It won’t attack these guys in one direction, so you can just round them all up and then skin them when you’re done.

We can catch two more bears here. You’ll find one next to Wyrdwood Tree nearby. To find another one, you need to go down this hill and to the roadside to the left of the pond, where there is another Wyrdwood Tree and the bear is here. We can just round up the bears and skin them.

That’s the route where we’re going to loop all the way back to where we started and do the same thing again. We just ran along the edge of the cliff to the top.

Buffs

We can walk this route again. To take advantage of maximum profit and yield, the buff I use is actually a food buff I use called Savory Fish Cake, for good luck.

I’m also using Powerful Proficiency Boost and Music Buffs, where you gain luck or production by playing music. Either one will give you the same amount of profit.

I also recommend using Skinning Luck Trophies around your house. I own all three main Skinning Luck Trophies. Then you’ll have more luck when you’re marked for PVP.

Like I said, this route makes me 3K-5K an hour on my server's Castle of Steel. But it depends on how much Pristine Bear Claw we get. That concludes this guide. Hurry up and give it a try!

Since the New World released, it has already become one of the best MMORPG currently, today I wanted to share with you guys some quick tips and tricks that you can use in your New World gameplay, in order to be able to play the game better or easier.

First thing is the Pin recipe function, this has been here since the release of the game but you can see it up in the top right. For example, if you got the recipe for different stuffs, pinned to my like Quest tracker, basically you can see each individual ingredient that needed.

This can be pretty handy because some recipes do have a lot of materials, and it's actually a really simple feature but just it's kind of hidden. I guess some people don't seem to know it exists, it's been here since the release of the game. If you want to trace the required materials, just click the pin recipe button and keep this recipe on screen during gameplay.

Another quick tip I want to share with you guys that some people don't seem to know is these buttons here in the Inventory. They're little bit hidden, maybe is the same with Pin recipe, they're just not immediately obvious. But you can use them to sort through your inventory by weight, which can be very handy.

The next tip I want to share with you guys that revolves around in-game gameplay is the Command. There are actually a couple of useful commands that you guys may not know, the first one is /stuck or /unstuck, this can be useful if you're doing a quest.

If you accidentally dodge roll a little bit too far or fall off the cliff, you do not have to run back, what you can do is just type /stuck into the chat bar, this is going to rewind you back in time, usually about like 10 seconds. You can only do this once every two minutes, it can be really useful if you just make a mistake.

The next tip is the first house you purchase in New World is 50 percent off. Most of players might want to use it to buy a house quickly, but it's better to wait for a more expensive house, thus you can enjoy half price for better one. But be beware, there are taxes you have to pay, so keep that in mind before buying a very expensive house, all you need is the enough New World Coins.

The last one tip is using the respawn function to cut travel times. Because fast travel is a bit harder to do in New World, it's a good idea to place down your camp and then kill yourself so you respawn back at the quest-giver location, which can save up to twenty minutes while completing a quest. The direct respawn functionality has been removed from the menu as of the open beta, that means the only way to do this is to actually die.
