Welcome back to Elden Ring, today I want to talk to you about the co-op and the pvp. Basically about the multiplayer of the game and exactly how it worked so let's get into it.

So First of all, Elden Ring does have multiplayer in the forms of both co-op and pvp, there is no cross platform unfortunately although there will be cross generation. So those of you on the Xbox one can play with those on the series x and s, and those on the ps4 can play with other players on the ps5.

Meanwhile, even though the game does feature pvp and co-op gameplay, local or offline types of multiplayer gameplay will not be available.

You will have to unlock the multiplayer component of eldon ring by playing the game, but you will unlock it very early on and you'll get items which will help you interact with other players. So the co-op part of the game will let you summon other players into your game, using summoning signs similar to what happens in the Dark Souls series.

In Eldon Ring co-op can be played with four players, you and three friends or random players you can summon the players into your game with an item called the Furlcalling Finger Remedy, using this item from the multiplayer menu will let you see summoning signs on the floor, which represent players that are willing to play in your game.

If you want to join someone else's game instead of them joining you, there is another item called Tarnished's Furled Finger, and when you use this item, your own summoning sign will be placed on the floor.

If a player uses the first item the Furlcalling Finger Remedy, you will be able to jump into their game, you also set up your own game with friends, and you can also password protect your lobby which is an option in the multiplayer menu. By setting a password you and your friends will only be able to see each other's summoning signs instead of seeing random players.

Then after co-op, we have pvp as well, which is going to let you go up against other players instead of helping each other. Again we've got two items you'll need to use in order to initiate pvp matches, number one being the Duelist's Furled Finger, this will let you leave a red sign on the floor that other players can see, if a player accepts the challenge, you can start a fight you want.

Then the other item you can use is Bloody Finger, this item will let you pick a player whose game you are going to invade, the pvp matches in this game are called invasions when you use this item, and you pick a player, you are basically going to jump into his game without having a clue, and start you personally show.
