The new chapter Sunbreak in Monster Hunter Rise will be released on June 30 for Nintendo Switch and PC, and players can buy it on Steam. Just this past weekend, Capcom revealed some updated content for its upcoming new DLC release.

Players will fight three new monsters, which are Garangolm, Fanged Wyvern Lunagaron, and Elder Dragon Malzeno.

In terms of game mechanics, the new chapter has added the form of hunter helpers, and players can collect them as new tangled attacks. There are two main groups of Hunter helpers. One group is the expendable small creatures collected by hunters in battle, like the marionette spider, which can throw wire nets at monsters, and players can pull the wire nets to drive the monsters and let them fall into traps. Another set of hunter helpers can increase attack power or rewards. such as morphed wirebugs, which include two forms, Ruby and Gold, players can choose to install them on monsters, Ruby can increase the attack power of mounted monsters, and Gold can increase the reward dropped by defeating enemy monsters. But note that these hunter helpers can no longer be used after they are consumed.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak also adds new equipment, including the Defender series of weapons, which have high attack power. and players can choose a more stylish master armor set to enhance the hunter's power.
