Diablo Immortal: Update 1.5.2 will add the Class Change mechanism
Jul 20, 2022

Source: MMOWTS

Diablo Immortal, a game just released a month ago, has both controversy and acclaim. Tomorrow, Update 1.5.2 will land, and players will be able to experience new features, events, cosmetics, and more. The most noteworthy core content is that Blizzard finally saw players' needs and explorations for occupations in the game and brought a practical Class Change mechanism.

For every Diablo Immortal player, a class is a first and most important choice going into the early game. Before the Class Change mechanism is launched, players need to know as much as possible about the classes and choose carefully according to the play style and attributes of different professions, to ensure that they can choose the one that suits them. However, now you can take advantage of the Class Change mechanism to determine your class after a lot of experimentation.

Players will need to visit the Shifting Flames brazier in Westmarch to make a class change, but there are a few conditions that need to be met. Players can only unlock Class Changes when their current occupation reaches level 35, and there is a 7-day waiting period for changing careers. Players will get a free career change opportunity every 7 days, so make good use of them to experience the fun of different classes.

When players choose a class for the first time, they can set the character's appearance and completely reset Paragon Trees and can obtain placeholder gear, which will have the same level as the previous class's equipment.

Class Changes will have no effect on Clan, Warband and other social group affiliations, which means you can still fight alongside your friends. Also, Some class-specific cosmetics and gear will not carry over when you change classes. All gear equipped for your previous class will be available in your inventory. Any cosmetics owned for a class will be retained on that class and will be available upon changing back to it.

In addition to the exciting Class Change mechanic, Blizzard has brought other feature updates, players can now purchase an Eternal Legendary Crest from Jondo Mouren for 1600 Diablo Immortal Platinum through the weekly Warband Raid. Fading Ember's cap has also been raised to 280, and players can trade 22 Fa Runes for an Eternal Legendary Crest.
