Diablo Immortal: Vitaath Encounter Guide
Jul 12, 2022

Source: MMOWTS

The Heliquary Raid system is one of the most iconic modes in Diablo Immortal, which can bring players considerable benefits, such as Demonic Remains buffs, good loot drops, and more. Of course, the value-for-money gain also means that the difficulty of the raid will not be low, and players need to spend some effort to deal with some difficult-to-beat enemies and Bosses.

Vitaath the Shivering Death is a brand-new Helliquary Raid Boss that was introduced a week ago with the Diablo Immortal content update. She focuses on freezing attacks, and players will meet her in the third Helliquary Raid Bossfight. Players will unlock the Vitaath encounter after defeating Lassal on all three difficulties, where players can find a demonic portal from the Einfrinn tree in the center of Westmarch, from which they will be teleported to Vitaath's sanctum.

This is a four-stage Bossfight, and Vitaath will have a health bar in each stage. During the battle, players especially need to pay attention to the massive AoE unleashed by Vitaath. Players with melee classes need to fight quickly to avoid Vitaath's frontal attacks; players who choose ranged classes should try to attack from the maximum range.

The First Phase

The initial Vitaath will bring the following attacks while using teleportation for small area attacks.

Icicle Drop: Vitaath will divide four areas by releasing spells, and then a large number of icicles will fall from the top of these four areas and cause great damage to players, so players should leave these cursed areas as soon as possible.

Frost Debuff: Vitaath inflicts the Frost Debuff on a random player.

Frontal Line Attack: Vitaath will summon a row of icicles to attack the player, so dodge in time.

Frontal Cone Attack: Vitaath will use her sword to form a cone swing, and players need to react and dodge as quickly as possible.

At this stage, the ranged professional players in the team need to play the biggest role, attack from the largest range possible to avoid Vitaath's teleportation and pay attention to avoid the above attacks.

The Second Phase

After entering the second stage, Vitaath will rise into the air and bring more different attack types.

Icy Clones: Vitaath will release her clone and use some of the attacks that appeared in the first phase. It's worth noting that when three clones of Vitaath appear, the Vitaath is immune to damage.

Frozen Shade: These mobs deal ranged damage to a single target.

Chilling Construct: Will bring melee attacks, causing a certain amount of single-target damage.

To tackle the second phase, the team needs to defeat the three clones first and maintain overall mobility. Melee class players need to attack while avoiding attacks, while ranged players need to stay away after landing to avoid icicles.

The Third Phase

During this phase, Vitaath will turn on the Point-Blank AoE Pulse to bring large area attacks. The icicles left in the second phase will shatter into Frozen Shades during this attack.

Players need to pay attention to avoid the icicles that are about to break and deal with the mobs.

The Fourth Phase

Vitaath will bring her three clones as always, and summon a new batch of mobs. At the same time, Vitaath also brought AoE Ice Star and Raining Icicles as the final attack.

Players can refer to the second stage to fight and destroy the clone of Vitaath first without causing too much damage from the mobs.

For fans of Diablo Immortal, it's the constant enhancements through the Diablo Immortal Eternal Orb that will make Heliquary Raid even more fun. So MMOWTS will bring you support, and you can get more useful information and services here.
