The Wrath of the Lich King Classic is the next most anticipated expansion of Warcraft, and players' eyes are firmly fixed on it.
After releasing the beta, Blizzard also responded positively to player feedback, bringing improvements to the experience mechanics in PvP. The way players gain experience in PvP will be slightly changed in the upcoming WOTLK Classic.
In WOTLK Classic, some players are more interested in PvP at a fixed level. Although this is contrary to the PvP mechanism that encourages players to experience the fun of leveling up, more and more players need to turn off the experience gains function.
To keep low-level battlefields alive, Blizzard has reintroduced experience gain based on honor earned as well as the ability to turn off all experience gains. Players can choose whether to gain experience from a certain dungeon battle, or lock in a specific level.
At the same time, this improvement will not affect the division of the matching queue. Players who have turned off PvP experience will continue to matchmake in the general pool so that everybody has the highest chance of finding a match.
In the official WOTKL Classic, players will be able to accumulate experience from PvP events to earn rewards like WOTLK Classic Gold, and use the ability to turn off your experience for 10g from Behsten and Slahtz in Stormwind and Orgrimmar and respectively.
