Genshin Impact Guide: All Elements And How They Interact

Genshin Impact Guide: All Elements And How They Interact

The popular Genshin Impact will usher in the 1.4 update, new characters will also appear, there are other new quests, and even a new festival. Therefore, players will have a fresh gaming experience. For new players, this is the best time to try this free game. Whether you are a veteran or a new player, you may want to know about all the current Genshin Impact element types and the interaction between these elements.

In Genshin Impact, the element system is very important because it is the basis of the game's combat. Every character has specific elemental attacks, and their combo can create very powerful effects. Creating a team around these elemental buffs can cause a massive boost, and it will be a good thing for you if you can add the best heroes to your team.

Currently, Genshin Impact has seven element types: Pyro, Hydro, Dendro, Electro, Anemo, Cryo, and Geo.

The following is a list of all element reactions and combos:

Pyro(Fire)

Hydro - Vaporize: deals 1.5x Pyro damage

Dendro - Burning: deals Pyro damage over time

Electro - Overloaded: deals AoE Pyro damage

Cryo - Melt: deals 2x Pyro damage

Hydro(Water)

Pyro - Vaporize: deals 2x Hydro damage

Electro - Charged: deals Electro damage over time

Cryo - Frozen: freezes the target

Dendro(Nature)

Pyro - Burning: deals Pyro damage over time

Electro(Lightning)

Pyro - Overloaded: deals AoE Pyro damage

Hydro - Electro-Charged: deals Electro damage over time

Cryo - Superconduct: deals AoE Cryo damage

Anemo( Wind)

Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo - Swirl: deals elemental damage that spreads to nearby enemies

Cryo(Ice)

Pyro - Melt: deals 1.5x Cryo damage

Hydro - Frozen: freezes the target

Electro - Superconduct: seals AoE Cyro damage

Geo(Earth)

Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo-Crystalize: drops a crystal that provides an elemental shield

The number of reactions for each element is not the same, and some combos do not even have interactions, which will limit your combat options. So choosing a Dendro main is not a good choice, because it can only react with Pyro. So, when you want to build a powerful team, it is helpful to learn about all the elements in advance.

Once a new playable character is added to the 1.4 update, you can check it out on MMOWTS immediately, because we will launch their Genshin Impact Accounts as soon as possible.

If you don’t have enough luck to let your favorite heroes join your team, you can come to MMOWTS to buy Genshin Impact Accounts with them. Whether five-star heroes or five-star weapons, they are available on MMOWTS.
