How to remove gems?

You need to use the Horadric Cube again to remove the gems:

1. Open the Horadric Cube

2. Insert the socketed item, as well as a Hel Rune and a Scroll of Town Portal.

Where to find Tal Rasha’s Tomb?

The Palace leads to the Harem, you need to fight your way to the Palace Cellar. You can hire a mercenary at the gates to ensure a greater chance of survival. In addition, you can find waypoints at this location to fast travel in case you die.

You need to find the blue portal, which will provide access to Arcane Sanctuary. Find the Summoner in Arcane Sanctuary and defeat him. The journal of the Summoner will reveal the true location of the Tomb.

After reading the journal, you can open the Active Quests tab on the menu. The correct symbol of the Tomb will be shown in the description here. The symbol is randomized every time.

A red portal will open, which will take you to the area containing Tal Rasha’s Tomb. Search the tomb area and enter the one marked with the Tomb’s symbol.

It can be made with any mace weapon or staff class weapon but maces. Flails are more popular because they can be held by one hand, allowing you to carry the shield with the other hand. If you play as a Sorceress, you might want to make a HOTO staff and find a 4-socket staff with a set of ideal modifiers.

The base weapon of HOTO must have 4 sockets to spell out the runeword "KoVexPulThul". You need to add the runes to the weapon in the same order, otherwise, you will not be able to get the Heart of the Oak. So add Ko rune, Vex rune, Pul rune and then Thul rune.

* Thul is the easiest to find in the HOTO runes, it starts to drop o the Act IV on Normal difficulty.

* Ko followed closely, it started to drop in Act II on Nightmare difficulty, but in the Hellforge on Nightmare or Hell, you have a higher chance to get it, or get it from The Countess on Hell.

* Pul only starts to drop in Act IV on Nightmare

* Vex is difficult to obtain, you can only expect to drop randomly somewhere on Hell difficulty.
